Lease Term
|
Most of our leases are
for 12 month terms. We usually prefer that leases
end on April 30 or September 30- the most
common moving dates in Chicago. This makes it
easier to coordinate moving times for everybody.

Security
Deposits
|
Our normal security
deposit is equal to one month's rent.
In cases
where a tenant may be renting their first apartment
or may have some blemishes on their credit, we may
require a higher deposit until a payment history can
be built with us.

Application
|
We require a
completed and signed application from each
prospective tenant. Print our Application
now. Most applications are approved in about
24 hours.

Application Fee
|
We require a credit
report fee of $25 for each applicant to cover our
cost of obtaining credit bureaus and verifying
employment and tenancies.

Each applicant is evaluated based upon their personal credit history,
previous tenancies, employment history and
references.

Since most of our apartments are in
buildings that were constructed in the early 1900's, for structural
reasons we do not allow any liquid-filled furniture in any of our units.
